Tweak: Disabling Right Click on Start Menu
OS: Windows XP

You can use this Tweak for Securing your Desktop . This tweak will help you to hide the Options which appear when someone Right clicks on the start menu & try to explore. To use this tweak follow th steps below:

• Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
• Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell & to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
• Now rename the key shell to shell.old
• Now reboot your PC.

If you want to show it again then rename it to shell again.

Note: Create a System Restore Point or have Backup before applying this Tweak..

One of the things which may cause your processor to heat is Checking of USB ports for any new devices. Even if your PC is Idle the processor continue to check the USB ports. In this tweak you will learn how to save the Processor Power & making your Processor cool without opening your CPU by increasing the time interval, so that processor checks the USB ports after a gap of time. We will do this by USB idling...

To do so open Registry Editor in Win XP & navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\
{36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}\0000

Under 0000 create a new DWORD value & name it as IdleEnable & set it's value to 1 . This will enable USB idling.

After this Reboot your PC..

6. Change the 'Not Configured mode' to 'Enabled' & change the Bandwidth limit (%) to '0'

7. After that apply the settings.

8. Then reboot your PC.

Fast SHUT DOWN (Registry Hack 02)

Registry Hack: FASTENING THE SHUT DOWN PROCESS.

Operating System: Windows XP

Are you tired of waiting for task to End during windows Shut down? in other words

Is Your PC taking alot of time to shut down?

Then apply this hack to fast the shut down process.

1. Click on Start then click on Run.

2. Now under Run type regedit.exe

3.Then a Registry Editor will be opened in front of you like the below one:

4. Now navigate to the address

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

and to

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

5. Now under these locations change the string value of AutoEndTasks from 0 to 1.

6. Also search for WaitToKillAppTimeout which controls the default time, in milliseconds.

Reduce it's string value (value denotes time before ending the application) to speed up the shut down time.

7. Now reboot your PC for changes to take effect.

Note: Please have a Backup or save a Restore Point in your Computer before applying the Hack..

There's a Windows Prefetcher in Xp which helps to load the applications faster by storing the application in prefetch cache. To speed up just change the just change the value of EnablePrefetcher by following these Steps...

1. Click on Start then click on Run.

2. Now under Run type regedit.exe

3.Then a Registry Editor will be opened in front of you like the below one:

4. Now navigate to the address

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\MemoryManagement\PrefetchParameters

5. Now change the default value of EnablePrefetcher that is 3 to 5 to make the applications load faster.

After that Reboot your System.

How to Hide Blogger Navbar in New Blogger ...

To Hide Blogger Navbar from your Blogger Template Follow the Steps given below:

1. Open your Blogger account, then on dashboard screen click on Layout

2. Then Click on Edit HTML Template Tab.

3. Now under Edit Template code Section Search the code <style>

4. Then after that Under the Style Tag place anywhere the following code :

<#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none; }>

5. Now click on Save Template Button...

Now After this ur Blogger Navbar would get hidden..

If you want to Show the Navbar again, then delete the code & save the template .

• Now the Question Arises that Hiding the Blogger Navbar is Legal or Not?

The Terms of Services don't mention any Rule to Hide Blogger Navbar, so no risk is there till Today in Hiding the navbar..But if Blogger announces something like that then don't forget to Show it again... Until then Enjoy the Tweak..
