How to increase compatibility of Documents created with MS Word

This article helps you tackle the compatibility issues of your Microsoft Word Documents. If you send a document made with Newer version of MS Word, then sometimes the reader is not able to access the document in .doc format because of older version of MS Word on his system. So the problem needs to be solved with a more stable & easily accessible format which can be opened by almost most of it's versions.

Which is the Format that beats .doc format in Microsoft Word?

The answer is RTF, also called Rich Text Format. The format can be opened in almost all the versions of Microsoft Word & even in many other Software. In simple language the RTF format is much more stable & better than .doc format.

Saving Files in RTF format:

Create a document in MS Word.
Then click on 'Save'.
After giving name to your file change the File Format by clicking on 'Save as Type'.
Then under the drop down menu choose Rich Text Format as the saving format.

3D objects in Photoshop CS3

Photoshop CS3 has new feature of working with 3D objects which was missing in older versions. You can work on & modify 3D models in Photoshop CS3 easily. It has the option of 3D layers with which you can open 3D models.

Adding a 3D layer :

Click on Layer Tab.
Then click on 3D layers.
Then on New Layer from 3D file, then select the file from your computer.

Photoshop CS3 supports formats like U3D, KMZ, OBJ, 3DS.

After your model has been imported into the Photoshop then you can rotate it in any direction. To modify it further you need to have more controls on the screen which you can get by clicking on Transform 3D Model. Many options then let you move , rotate & different camera views of model come on screen. You can also add new textures to the Model under Layer>3DLayers>Replace Texture. After finishing your model transformation click on Commit 3D icon to apply changes.
